Most of the things I would say to myself, I would never say to another person. Yet, I would continually beat myself up and compare myself to others… why? Why do we do this to ourselves?
When I started getting to the root of my problem, it was because I was insecure with myself and who I was. I was always looking for outside validation instead looking inside myself for what I really wanted. It left me feeling like I was never good enough.
I realized that the very things I wanted for myself, I had to start giving to myself. One of those things was love… but how do I start loving myself? I started by eating healthier, making my fitness a priority, and working on my inner work, which was changing my self talk.
The gateway to the mind is through fitness and nutrition and once those areas are strong, we can truly step into our authentic power and start changing our mindset. That is one of my favorite things to coach on and teach my clients.
