It’s not about being the best. It’s about being better than you were yesterday.

If you make a decision, good things will happen. Hitting a goal is similar to the seasons changing. It doesn’t happen in one straight shot, it happens gradually. This year, give yourself permission and grace to truly go for what you want– in love, in health, and in life.

Here are 5 tips to keep yourself motivated and moving forward in 2018.

  1. Give Yourself Permission

Your past doesn’t determine your future… you can do this! Go for it!

  1. Set goals

Give yourself benchmarks, be sure to celebrate your wins, and remind yourself often (sometimes every day in the beginning) of why you started and what you’re trying to achieve.

  1. Be consistent

When I’m feeling on top of the world, I have a kickass workout. If I’m not feeling as motivated, I will maybe only do a 30 minute workout instead of an hour. The key is I still show up and to keep showing up for yourself and your goals.

  1. Keep accountable

Enlist in a buddy or a coach that can help you stay the course and keep you on track. Accountability is gold.

  1. Be easy with it

Have grace with yourself– know that you are doing the best you can with what you have and that’s all you can ask of yourself.

 

I believe in you. You are worthy of what you desire. You can achieve anything you set your mind too.
