What comes to my mind when I hear that word?
Hard. Effort. Push. Exhausting. Frustrating.
This week has been a tough one. I’ve been stepping outside of my comfort zone a lot more than I usually do. Creating new challenges, contributing as a guest blogger, posting more videos… and don’t get me wrong, it’s all good stuff… but it’s way outside of my comfort zone… and now my mind and my emotions are telling me that.
It got me thinking… it’s the same thing when we start out on our fitness journey. We’re trying to make some major changes with our health and our mind will start saying… “no, thank you.”
If you keep ignoring it… it will eventually start screaming and shouting, “STOP! STOP IT NOW!”
Yep. Our mind is designed to keep us safe, except we’re in no real danger… we’re only doing things that we’re not used to.
So keep going and push through it. That’s where your breakthrough lies.
