This is it.
I pressed send.
There’s no going back.
Back in 2015 I wrote a very rough-draft of my journey… eventually wanting to turn it into a book.
I sat on it for awhile and didn’t do much with it because there was nothing pushing me to do it.
Last year in 2018, my business coach, said her publishing platform was hosting a contest, so I figured what the heck, and launched it. It was only for about 4-6 weeks and I received 20 pre-orders of my book.
20 people that pre-ordered my book and it wasn’t even finished it.
So humbling, yet so freaking scary at the same time.
So many times I asked my husband, “Should I just give them their money back ($20) and not do it.”
Knowing all to well fear was taking hold of my heart.
And being the kind of supporter he is, he said, “No. You’re going to finish that book.”
So, thank you to the people that pre-ordered my book. Without you, I probably would not be doing this.
The good news, is I secured a book editor to help me do this and man, I don’t think I’ve been this nervous in a long time, which is good, because that means growth. As we move forward, I’ll have more packages and opportunities for more pre-orders if you would like one
Scared. Excited. Nervous. Fearful. Joyful.
That’s how I’m feeling now.
Oh the anticipation.
All the feelings of doing something new and not sure what to expect.
They say the key to growth is outside your comfort zone.
Was there ever a decision that you knew you should do, but you were scared to take the leap? or something you’ve tried but it turned out better than you expected? Share with me.
